**If not enough players in a grade, SHAA has the ability to merge with other schools to form a team.

Tackle football registration will remain open until July 1. It is closing significantly sooner than in previous years to align with other parishes and allow us time to coordinate with other schools to merge teams. Merging has become necessary over the past couple of years, and it appears it will be necessary for the foreseeable future. If you are not registered by July 1, you run the risk of there not having a spot available for your child to play. The need for, and the scope of the mergers, will be determined by the number of players registered on July 1. We will start merging teams with other parishes immediately after July 1 in order to leave time to fulfill the proper CYO paperwork. Based on the size of the merged teams, the coaches and sports director will have the discretion whether or not to add late registrants to the team. If you have not registered for financial reasons, please contact Barry Thoman (sthilaryathletics@gmail.com).

Commissioner: John Scanlon (jscanlon@scangrp.com)
Registration open to girls and boys in Grades 3-8.

**IF not enough players register in a grade, SHAA has the ability to combine players from 2 consecutive grades to form a team.
